Snapple strawberry kiwi juice drink is a refreshing drink made mainly from two tropical fruits: the sweet strawberries and the tangy kiwi fruits. It’s time to boost our vitamin C levels!!

Snapple kiwi strawberry juice is gluten-free, diary-free, and contains no added sugar. It is packed with essential vitamins such as vitamin C among others.

This recipe is inspired by Snapple, a renowned juice and tea corporation based in Newyork. However, I will be making a DIY strawberry kiwi snapple drink in my kitchen.

Health benefits of strawberry and kiwi snapple juice

  • Both strawberries and kiwi fruits are rich in vitamin C. Vitamin C plays important functions in our bodies such as improving eye health, boosting our immunity and and overall skin health(collagen production)
  • Both fruits have antioxidant properties. Antioxidants protect our bodies from chronic diseases and cancers by fighting inflammations in out bodies.
  • Improves heart health. These two fruits are rich in potassium. This supports the heart health by improving muscle function and regulating blood pressures and cholesterol.

  • Fresh Strawberries: Opt for plump, ripe strawberries bursting with flavor. Aim for around 2 pounds to yield sufficient juice.
  • Fresh kiwis: Opt for kiwis that yield slightly to pressure when gently squeezed. You’ll need around 3 to 4 kiwis for this recipe.
  • Water: Pure, filtered water will serve as the base of your beverage.
  • Sugar or honey: Adjust the sweetness to your liking. A quarter to half a cup of granulated sugar should suffice, but feel free to tweak according to your taste preferences.
  • Lemon Juice: A splash of freshly squeezed lemon juice adds a subtle tartness and enhances the overall flavor profile.

How to make homemade kiwi strawberry juice

I find making this juice very easy. Ready in less than 5 minutes.

Start by washing your fruits thoroughly under clean cold running water to remove dirt or any debris.

Peel the outer layer of the kiwi fruit and slice into small cubes. Remove the strawberry stems and cut into them into halves.

It’s now time to blend. Combine all your measured ingredients into your blender. Add in the strawberries, kiwis, water, lemon juice, and optionally, sugar or honey. Blend them together until smooth. You can omit sugar or honey for natural flavour or a zero sugar experience.

Once blended, strain using a sieve to remove any seeds. Pour into a glass and sip the sweetness of kiwi and strawberries. Garnish with a slice of kiwi or strawberry. Add icecubes for cold refreshing drink. Store the leftover juice in the refrigerator using snspple bottles ir cans. You can also freeze to last longer.

Tips

  • Balance the ratio of strawberries and kiwi fruits to your liking.
  • You can leave out sugar or honey for a natural sweetness experience.
  • Experiment with other ingredients. Add some fresh mint leaves or replace water with coconut water.

Homemade vegan gluten-free snapple strawberry kiwi lemonade.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

  • 2 ripe kiwis, peeled and sliced

  • 2 cups cold water

  • 2-3 tablespoons granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (optional, for added tartness)

Directions
