Strawberry and banana vanilla ice cream ingredients

  • Ripe bananas: peeled, sliced, and frozen. Use those leftover overripe bananas as a base for this ice cream recipe. They add natural sweetness and a creamy texture when blended. Choose bananas that are fully ripe with some brown spots for the best sweetness. If you don’t have ripe bananas, you can use ripe bananas and add a sweetener like honey or maple syrup to taste.
  • Fresh strawberries: washed, hulled, and frozen provide a burst of fruity flavor and a vibrant pink color. If using frozen, thaw them slightly before blending.
  • Vanilla extract: Vanilla extract adds a subtle vanilla flavor. You can omit it if you prefer or replace it with other extracts like almond or coconut for a different flavor profile.
  • Sweetened condensed milk: perfect for making no-churn ice cream as it adds sweetness and creaminess without the need for an ice cream maker. Our recipe is vegan, so i will be using full fat coconut cream. Alternatively you can use plain Greek yogurt
